How long does it take for honeysuckle to kill a small tree?

That depends on the vigour of both the vine and the tree.

Hoeysuckle doesn't choke trees, as many people think, they can destroy them by depriving them of light, though.

If you regularly cut the honeysuckle back in winter, it won't kill it at all, and you can still enjoy the flowers and scent in summer.

How long does it take for honeysuckle to kill a small tree?
That's totally relative to the size and kind of tree.
