How do I kill Poison Ivy without killing the honeysuckle that's growing with it??

Poison Ivy doesn't like sun. If you can trim things so that the poison Ivy get fun sun you will get rid of most of it but I'm not sure if honeysuckle likes full sun or not. Look up Jerry Baker he has natural remedies for things like this. I know white vinegar in a spray bottle kills plants you don't want.

I use this recipe to kill poison ivy;

l gal white vinegar; l T salt; l t liquid dish soap. Mix well

Spray the leaves; may take 2 applications but the stuff dies.

Be very careful to use only on the poison ivy.

I*ve also heard cutting the vine with a scissors and putting the recipe on the vine causes it to travel thru to the roots and up the vine to kill it. I would buy dollar scissors and throw them away after using.
Reply:Are you sure it is poison ivy and not Virginia creeper, which had 5 leaves instead of 3. To kill the poison ivy without killing other plants will be tricky. Talk with a local landscaper as well as the people in the plant department of your local Lowe's/Hope Depot.
Reply:im certain there are herbicides that target certain weeds or ivy's. alternately, you could bust out the gloves and long sleeves and go about it the good old fashioned way.
