How do I graft from a tree to transplant and also honeysuckle?

Honeysuckle is a very durable plant and can be moved easily with just a few tips: cut the vine back by as much as half, prepare the soil where it will grow by adding a bit of compost or other organic matter to your sandy soil to help it hold moisture and nutrients, then dig up as much roots as you can and replant immediately. Keep it watered until the new growth takes off, and fertilize with a root stimulator formula a couple of times during the recovery.

Just remember, honeysuckle is a very invasive plant, and be sure to put it where it will not take over, and you can easily access it to prune it back. Keep it pruned and confined, and you'll do well.

Now, as to grafting a tree to transplant, do you want to graft just in order to get a new tree? Because with most, you can take a cutting, root, and let it grow...if you are grafting onto a rootstock, go to: http://www.ces.ncsu.edu/depts/hort/hil/g... or http://www.bonsaitalk.com/links/cgi-bin/...

If you are simply trying to root a piece of a tree to duplicate it in another place, go to: http://www.bonsaitalk.com/links/cgi-bin/... for more information.
