Try Round-up herbicide. It will kill anything it touches and decays in the environment within a day or so. If Roundup doesn't kill it then you have an alien plant....:)

Roundup! And if possible, apply it just before a frost. The plant will then send all it's energy into the roots and this herbicide will go with it.
