Do you use latice with honeysuckle plants?
'Dropmore Scarlet' Honeysuckle is a twining vine. They need a lattice type structure to wrap their twining stems around for support. Here is an article by the University of Illinois Extension Service about vines in general. Remember that honeysuckle vine is a twining vine when you read the article.

And yes, mommyof2, there are honeysuckle bushes.
Reply:No it is just a bush. It doesn't climb.
Reply:Some consider it a groundcover, but you should train over fences, arbors, etc.

Will tolerate shade very well, but this plant blooms extremely well when placed in full sun. Extremely large scarlet flowers starting around late May. Produces a large display of blooms, then blooms sporadically for the rest of the season.

Prune late fall or early spring, and you trim for rebloom.
