I know this plant is invasive but i was wondering if there is anyway you can grow it so its not a heachache, how far away from other plants would i have to plant it?
Japanese Honeysuckle?
It reseeds itself and attracts lots of bees. I had it in NC at the end of the yard on a fence and it took off into a holly tree 50' tall covered up a nandina plant and decided to cover up roses on the other side of the fence. I got rid of it and discovered it back on another side of the yard in the spring.
Reply:No idea, but we planted it as a climber up the front of the house a month or so back and it's doing well and not causing us any problems.
Reply:To keep it from getting into plants that might be nearby, plant it 40 miles away.
