We need a fast growing hedge for privacy between our property and new homes adjacent to us. What is best?

We were thinking about honeysuckle vine attached to wire fencing down the line of our property. Would this make a good privacy border?

Leyland Cypress is what every developer in Atlanta uses.

I dont think Honeysuckle is evergreen so you only will have summe "privacy" with that.
Reply:Leeland cypress isn't a fast grower. Try rocket Junipers. honeysuckle is good I think if you have the room for them to spread.
Reply:I have just planted some small Green Giant Thuja's (60 to be exact). Once they are established (one year) they are supposed to grow 3-5 feet a year. I'm hoping for some privacy too. Here is what they look like for privacy.

Reply:bamboo growing in plastic containers sunk into the ground looks really good and it grows quick and tall.

also you could train climbing plants all over them without the need for extra support.

hope this helps !
