Honeysuckle diseases?

My honeysuckle was okay for 5 years then about five years ago it started dropping its petals? before they opened up. A few stayed on and opened but never a full flower. It has started again just as they are due to come out. It looks really healthy is growing better than ever and has more flowerheads than ever and I don't want to lose them all.

Anyone have any ideas please?

Thanks

Dorothy.

Honeysuckle diseases?
I would suggest putting in new soil for them to grow. Then, check them frequesntly and change the soil frequently.
Reply:Is it getting enough water? If it grew good for 5 years, maybe it is too big to bloom on the amount of water it used to take.

Also, try some fertilizer but remember you have to water even more with fertilizer or it will burn the plant.

If you are fertilizing get a 12-12-12 or something like that. Or get one that says it's for blooming plants. Too high a nitrogen (the first number) will encourage leaf growth but not support the flowers.

Hope that works.
